La Patience peut se définir par le fait d’attendre avec calme… je ne me reconnais pas dans le fait d’être calme !

Par contre je me reconnais complètement dans l’autre définition qui est la persévérance conjuguée à la constance.

Pour ce tableau, j’ai fait beaucoup de croquis, choisi l’un d’eux, fondu plusieurs couches de peinture entre elles, dessiné des branches, puis récolté des éléments végétaux, et enfin  fixé ces éléments sur la toile, patiemment, morceau par morceau.
Et cette toile s’inscrit dans une démarche que je travaille encore et encore depuis 4 ans, avec plein de nouvelles idées encore à venir…
Persévérance et constance sont les clés de ce travail.

Patience can be defined as the ability to wait with calm… I don’t see myself in the fact to be calm !

On the other hand I totally see myself in the other definition which is perseverance combined to steadfastness.

For this artwork, I made many sketches, chose one of them, melted many layers of painting, drew branches, then collected vegetal elements, and finally fixed those elements on canvas, patiently, piece by piece.
And this piece of work comes within the scope of a process that I’ve worked on again and again for 4 years, with many new ideas still to come…
Perseverance and steadfastness are the keys of this work.
