Autre Monde – Acrylique sur toile – 70×100 cm

Parfois il est bon de se laisser guider et inspirer – le résultat est souvent étonnant, comme cette peinture qui m’a tellement surprise que je l’ai laissée sur un des murs de mon atelier pendant 6 mois, en me disant que j’allais forcément la faire évoluer…

Mais finalement non, je ne la modifierai pas, car j’aurais l’impression de la trahir.
Elle m’a été inspirée par la saga Autre Monde écrite par Maxime Chattam, et la quête des cœurs de la terre. J’en profite donc pour remercier Maxime Chattam pour sa prose: j’ai adoré !

Sometimes it’s nice to let ourselves be guided and inspired – the result is often surprising, like this painting that caught me so much by surprise that I left it on one of of the walls of my studio for 6 months, thinking this painting was destined to evolve…

But finally no, I didn’t and won’t change anything, otherwise I would have the feeling to betray it.
It was inspired by the saga of novels « Other World » by Maxime Chattam, and the quest for Earth hearts. I take the advantage of the opportunity to thank Maxime Chattam for those books : I loved them !
